Abstract

Evaluation of the implementation Special Financial Assistance program for Riau Province in Kerinci Kanan District, Siak Regency. This research method uses qualitative research methods as techniques for data collection and direct interviews with informants such as Head of Service, Head of Community and Village Empowerment Service of Riau Province, Head of Kerinci Kanan Sub-District, Penghulu, Director of BUMKam, Community Leaders. The results showed that the implementation of the Riau Province Special Financial Assistance program in Kerinci Kanan District, Siak Regency was quite successful but still not optimal, considering what is expected and the goals set out in the policy can be achieved, namely to improve the economic welfare of the community, but there is no guidance. and supervision needs to be anticipated so that the overall policy objectives can be achieved. The inhibiting factor in the implementation of the Riau Province Special Financial Assistance program policy in Kerinci Kanan District, Siak Regency, namely the lack of policies as a basis for carrying out the program so that it runs optimally according to its objectives. Weak oversight by the Community and Village Empowerment Service of Riau Province to oversee policies so that they are implemented in accordance with policy objectives so that results are in accordance with expectations.
