Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of goat manure and organic NPK fertilizer on the growth of upright bean plants. Research has carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution, KM 11 No.113, Air Winter Village, District Bukit Raya, Pekanbaru City. The research will take place from March 2023 until June 2023. This research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) factorial consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is goat manure consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 360, 720, and 1,080 g/plot. Second factor namely organic NPK fertilizer consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 18, 36 and 54 g/plot. The parameters observed were plant height, stem diameter, flowering age, number of productive branches, root volume and plant dry weight. Data observations were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ test at level 5%. The results showed that the interaction effect of manure goats and organic NPK fertilizer significantly differed on plant height and flowering age, except for the parameters of stem diameter, number of productive branches, root volume and plant dry weight. The best treatment is a combination of fertilizers goat pen at a dose of 720 g/plot and organic NPK fertilizer at a dose of 36 g/plot. The main effect of goat manure is significant on all parameters observation. The best treatment is goat manure 720 g/plot. Influence The main organic NPK fertilizer is real for all observation parameters. The best treatment is 36 g/plot organic NPK fertilizer.
