Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine whether or not there is an influence of the literacy corner on fourth grade students' reading interest at SDN 04 Mandau Duri. This research uses quantitative methods with a survey type. The population used in this research were all fourth grade students at SDN 04 Mandau Duri and the sample was 31 students using total sampling techniques. In testing the hypothesis in this research, simple linear regression analysis was used. Based on testing the hypothesis, it is known that there is a positive influence of the independent variable (literacy corner) on the dependent variable (interest in reading), namely 50.7% and the remaining 49.3% is influenced by other factors.
