Abstract

STUDENT CHARACTER EDUCATION IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INDEPENDENT CURRICULUM IN GRADE IV AT SDN 72 PEKANBARU Bunga Aprilia Rezeky NPM. 206910579 Email: bungaapriliarezeky@student.uir.ac.id ABSTRACT This study aims to determine how Character Education of Students in the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Grade IV at SDN 72 Pekanbaru. The research sample consisted of 3 teachers at SDN 72 Pekanbaru. To determine the Implementation of Character Education in Students at SDN 72 Pekanbaru. Through the Independent curriculum program such as: The School Mover Teacher Program, strengthening the Pancasila profile. Through Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM), Extracurricular Activities and Habits Through School Culture. The type of research used in this study is Qualitative. The analysis methods used in this study are interviews, observations and documentation for data management. The problem raised from this problem formulation is how the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Character Education of Students in the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SDN 72 Pekanbaru. This study focuses on the Implementation of Character Education of Students. Data obtained from the results of interviews and observations can be seen through Learning Activities to Catch Up and habits through school culture. Data on the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum in character education of students can be described descriptively by managing data from the results of observations, interviews and documentation.
