Abstract

Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution emphasizes the importance of an economy that is structured based on the principles of kinship and social justice, with the aim of creating people's welfare. The concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is important in supporting sustainable economic development, maintaining harmonious relationships between companies, communities and the environment. PT TASPEN (Persero) as a state-owned enterprise in the field of social insurance, is required to implement CSR in accordance with applicable regulations, with a focus on environmental conservation and community empowerment. The implementation of CSR by PT TASPEN (Persero) in Pekanbaru needs to be studied further to find out the obstacles faced in achieving effective and sustainable program goals. The main problem in this peenilitian is how the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at the company PT TASPEN (Persero) in Pekanbaru and what are the factors inhibiting the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at the company PT TASPEN (Persero) in Pekanbaru. While the research method used in this research is to use empirical sociological legal methods with interviews, field approaches, and direct observation using primary data. The research is descriptive, aims to provide a detailed and thorough description of the situation or events related to the topic under study to obtain in-depth information. The implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at PT TASPEN (Persero) shows a strong commitment to sustainability through the Partnership Program and Community Development Program, which support MSMEs and the surrounding community. However, implementation in Pekanbaru faces obstacles such as mismatches in the use of funds, weak skills of fostered partners, and the impact of the pandemic on the ability to repay loans. Although these challenges affect the effectiveness of the program, PT TASPEN continues to strive for solutions with a good evaluation and governance approach, creating a positive impact for the community and supporting sustainable development.
