Abstract

The effectiveness of Langgam Village Community Empowerment Institutions in Community Development and Empowerment is still not optimal. This can be seen from the lack of progress of community development and empowerment programs in the kelurahan, then the absence of a special office for the Kelurahan Community Empowerment Institute (LPMK) is also a factor in the weak coordination between fellow administrators and with the Langgam sub-district government. This has an impact on the difficulties of the community when it comes to communicating, coordinating and conveying aspirations to the Kelurahan Community Empowerment Institution (LPMK). In addition to the above problems, the tasks and functions of the Langgam Village Community Empowerment Institute (LPMK) have not yet been carried out. The aim of the study was to identify and analyze the effectiveness of Community Empowerment Institutions in Community Development and Empowerment in Langgam Village, Langgam District, Pelalawan Regency by using indicators of adaptability, work performance and job satisfaction. This study used a qualitative approach. The informants in this study totaled 7 people with the Head of LPM as the key informant. Data collection techniques by interviews and data analysis using the website developed by Miles Huberman. Based on the responses to the research results in the discussion chapter, it can be concluded that the Effectiveness of Community Empowerment Institutions in Community Development and Empowerment in Langgam Village, Langgam District, Pelalawan Regency is not optimal based on indicators of adaptability, work performance and job satisfaction. this is known because the level of community participation in the LPMK is not yet functioning. This can be seen from the lack of communication between the community and LPMK management. Communities tend to be less interested in being directly involved in the development process in the kelurahan area. Lack of community participation will result in low effectiveness of LPMK in carrying out its functions as it should.
