Abstract
The research aims to determine the interaction effect and the main effect of Eco-enzymes from fruit and vegetable waste and bokashi ketapang leaves on the growth and productivity of tomato plants. The research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution, KM 11 No. 113, Air Winter Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The research lasted for 6 months starting from September 2022 to February 2023. This research used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors, namely the first factor Eco-enzyme consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 40, 80, and 120 ml /l water. The second factor of Ketapang leaf bokashi consists of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 750, 1500 and 2250 g/plot. The parameters observed were plant height, stem diameter, age at flowering, age at harvest, number of productive branches, number of fruit per plant, weight of fruit per plant, number of remaining fruit, weight of remaining fruit, root volume. The observation data was analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. The results showed that the effect of the interaction of Eco-enzyme and bokashi ketapang leaves was significantly different on plant height, stem diameter, flowering age, number of productive branches, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant, number of remaining fruit, weight of remaining fruit, root volume, except for the harvest age parameter. The best treatment is a combination of Eco-enzyme 120 ml/l water and bokashi ketapang leaves 1500 g/plot. The main effect of Eco-enzyme is significantly different on all observed parameters. Best treat Eco-enzyme 120 ml/l water. The effect of ketapang leaf bokashi was significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment for bokashi ketapang leaves is 1500 g/plot.
