Abstract
This research is Classroom Action Research which aims to overcome existing problems in the classroom. The research subjects were class IV B students in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 25 students. The research was carried out in two cycles and at the end of each cycle a reflection was carried out on the actions given. Data collection techniques in research use observation sheets, questionnaires and documentation. The research results show that implementing learning using a project-based learning model in mathematics subjects with place value of numbers can increase students' learning motivation. This can be seen from student learning motivation in cycle I of 76.9%, increasing in cycle II of 82.9%. It is proven that the project-based learning model can increase students' learning motivation in mathematics subjects.
