Abstract

Conventional safes remain vulnerable to theft due to their limited security systems and lack of real-time monitoring. This study aims to design a prototype of a safe security system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and GPS, capable of monitoring and tracking the safe's location in real-time via the Telegram application. The system employs the ESP32 microcontroller for data processing and Wi-Fi connectivity, alongside the UBLOX NEO-6M V2 GPS module for location tracking. The prototype is designed to detect unauthorized access and provide early warning notifications to users through Telegram. Testing was conducted to evaluate the system's effectiveness in delivering notifications, remotely controlling the safe, and accurately tracking its location. The results indicate that the system successfully provides real-time notifications of suspicious activities or safe movements and displays location coordinates with adequate precision. This prototype offers an innovative solution that integrates IoT and GPS technologies to enhance safe security and protect valuable items.
