Abstract

Abstract This research focuses on obtaining valid Canva-based audio-visual teaching materials, so that they can be said to be suitable for use in the learning process. The urgency of this research is so that students will be able to build their knowledge from various sources and learning media. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development) where the design uses the development of the ADDIE model which is used in only a few stages because of the limitations of researchers, namely analysis, design, development. The data collection instrument used was an expert validation sheet. Data collection techniques include validation sheets, observations and unstructured interviews with class teachers as sources of information data. Qualitative descriptive analysis is the data analysis method used, and tries to characterize the validity findings provided by the validator. The results of data analysis obtained validity in the material, language and design aspects. The characteristics of the validator results are 83.63%, 86.25%, 88% respectively in the "feasible" category. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the audio-visual media assisted by the Canva application developed is declared valid and suitable for use by students in learning activities.
