Abstract

This study aims to address various challenges in the internship selection and monitoring processes at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Pematangsiantar by developing a web-based information system utilizing the Fuzzy Logic method. The system is designed to improve efficiency and accuracy in selecting internship candidates by processing data variables such as average report card scores, academic potential test results, and corporate culture test scores. Additionally, the system is equipped with monitoring features to support periodic recording and evaluation of internship participants' progress. The system development follows a Waterfall approach, including the stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The Fuzzy Logic Tsukamoto method is applied to manage uncertainties in the selection decision-making process. The system is tested using Black Box Testing to ensure functionality according to specifications and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to evaluate user acceptance levels. The results indicate that the developed system effectively supports a more objective selection process and provides a structured monitoring system. This implementation has proven effective in enhancing transparency and efficiency in internship program management while offering an innovative solution for human resource management at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Pematangsiantar.
