Abstract

Air is invisible to the human sense of sight, so we often think it doesn't exist. This can result in decreased air quality, environmental damage, and disruption to human health. In this research, the air quality classification process will be carried out using the support vector machine method with 7 criteria, namely fire, humidity, temperature, LPG, co, smoke, and density. Pekanbaru is one of the cities with the most hotspots in Indonesia. This is due to the main factors besides the weather and general human activities that contribute to bad air, this comes from land clearing and industrial factories in several areas around Pekanbaru. The focus of this research is to analyze data from previous studies so that predictions of air quality have the potential for fire or not for fire potential.
