Abstract
The research is entitled "The Effect of Palm Oil Solid Waste and Fertilizer Organic Eco Farming on Shallot Growth and Production (Allium ascalonicum L.)” aims to determine the effect of interaction between giving palm oil solid waste and eco farming organic fertilizer on growth as well as the production of shallot plants. Research was carried out in the garden Experiment from the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University. Design used in the research was a Completely Randomized Factorial Design, consisting of two factor. The first factor is the dosage of palm oil solid waste consisting of 4 levels namely 0, 1, 2, 3 kg/plot and the second factor is the concentration of eco organic fertilizer farming consists of 4 levels, namely 0, 5, 10, 15 ml of suspension/liter of water obtained 16 combination of treatments with 3 repetitions, so there were 48 experiments. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, age at harvest, number of tubers per hill, wet weight of tubers per hill, dry weight of tubers per hill and Tuber milk. The data was analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ test at 5% level. Results research shows the interaction of palm oil solid waste and eco organic fertilizer farming has a real influence on the parameters of plant height and number leaves, number of tubers per cluster, wet weight of tubers per cluster and dry weight wind tubers per hill with the best practice of palm oil solid waste 3 kg/plot and eco farming organic fertilizer 15 ml suspension/liter of water. Main influence palm oil solid waste provides real impact on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers per cluster, wet weight of tubers per cluster, dry weight tuber wind per hill and tuber shrinkage with the best treatment is 3 kg/plot. The main influence eco farming organic fertilizer has on parameters of plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers per hill, wet weight tubers per cluster, dry weight of tubers per cluster and tuber shrinkage with The best treatment is 15 ml of suspension/liter of water.
