Abstract
This research was conducted in Candi Village, Palmatak District. The main problem of waste management in the Sahabat Lestari “integrated waste management” waste bank is that there are still facilities and infrastructure that have not been fulfilled, organic waste management still uses open burning, high boat accommodation costs cause irregular transportation to cause waste accumulation to occur. The purpose of this study was to identify the management strategy of the Sahabat Lestari “integrated waste management” waste bank in Candi Village, Palmatak District, Anambas Regency. The analysis of waste bank management uses descriptive qualitative analysis with data collection methods through field observations and secondary data, while the analysis for the level of community participation uses Arstein's ladder theory by providing an assessment score using a guttman scale, and analysis for waste bank management strategies using the logical framework analysis (LFA) method.The results of the analysis of waste bank management still found facilities and infrastructure that have not been fulfilled, such as unblocked waste storage and the unavailability of containers equipped with labels / signs, organic waste management still uses open burning methods, high boat accommodation costs that make it difficult to send waste and create accumulation of waste in waste storage. The results of the analysis of the level of community participation show that the highest level of participation is at the informing level of 69.44%, namely even though customers have received information along with invitations regarding the waste bank management program but some of the customers do not participate in the program, in this case it shows a lack of participation from customers in waste bank management. The results of the direction of handling waste bank management strategies, namely by completing facilities and infrastructure that have not been fulfilled, conducting socialization and implementing a reward system in order to encourage community interest again and have a selling value with pawnshop gold savings investment through waste deposits and fulfilling the provisions by transporting waste at most once a month so as not to cause piles of garbage in the waste storage area
