Abstract
Apart from that, this research and development was carried out to obtain in-depth information about the application of the petanque sport pointing skills training model for athletes and to determine the effectiveness, efficiency and attractiveness of athletes to the model created. This research was carried out through small scale tests and large scale tests where the small scale sample consisted of 8 people. Meanwhile, the large-scale test consisted of 16 samples. Based on the results obtained, the average pointing result and skill score on the small scale test was 9.38. Meanwhile, in the large-scale test there was an increase, so that the average pointing result and skill score was 10.38. Next, effectiveness testing is carried out. From the results of the effectiveness test, the calculated t value was 4,813 with T-Table 2.12. Based on the testing rules, it can be seen that there is significant effectiveness if the t-count value is greater in the t-table, and if the significant value is smaller than 0.05 then it can be concluded that there is a significant influence or change in the application of the Pointing skill instrument. Furthermore, based on the results of the instrument feasibility test, the language feasibility test was 88%, the sports expert feasibility test was 86% and the assessment expert was 84%. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, it is concluded that the instrument made is good and suitable for use and application.
