Abstract

Mandau District is one of the districts in Bengkalis Regency which has the highest population density in Bengkalis Regency. This is because in Mandau District there is an oil and gas industrial area owned by PT. Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR) which has resulted in a lot of transmigration of residents from other areas to live in Mandau District. With a high population, it is necessary to ensure that the health facilities in Mandau District can serve the needs of the population, starting from the number of facilities and the distance of the facilities to the residents' homes must be easily accessible. The purpose of this study was to identify the reach of health facilities in Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency. This study uses a deductive approach because the researcher examines common problems based on testing a theory consisting of variables to determine the reach of health facility services in Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency. The method used in this study uses a quantitative descriptive method in describing the distribution of health facilities, the level of health facility services, and the distance of health facility services in Mandau District. From the analysis results, the very close reach distance (300 meters) of health facilities can be accessed by 15 villages/sub-districts with a coverage area of 504.37 Ha, then the close reach distance (600 meters) of health facilities can be accessed by 15 villages/sub-districts with a coverage area of 1,161.33 Ha, then the medium reach distance (1200 meters) of health facilities can be accessed by 17 villages/sub-districts with a coverage area of 3,325.33 Ha, and the long reach distance (> 3000 meters) of health facilities can be accessed by 17 villages/sub-districts with a coverage area of 18,020.02 Ha.
