Abstract

PT Samudra Mandari Dumai (LPG Agency) is a company that operates in the distribution and provision of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) or liquefied petroleum gas. In the process of selecting prospective employees, PT Samudra Mandari Dumai (LPG Agency) has traditionally involved subjective elements and has required a considerable amount of time to select candidates who meet the company's criteria. Therefore, a web-based decision support system has been developed to assist the company in selecting candidates who meet the criteria, thereby expediting the employee selection process. The development of this system utilizes an waterfall methodology and employs the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) decision-making calculation method. The results of this research are that this system makes the selection process at PT Samudra Mandari Dumai Elpiji Agent more effective, efficient and also makes the process easier. The system is created using the PHP programming language, with MySQL as its database foundation. This system is employed to accelerate the selection process for prospective employees and enable a more objective assessment. The results of this research, this system makes the selection process at PT Samudra Mandari Dumai LPG Agent more effective, efficient and also makes the process easier.
