Abstract

The Contribution of Speed and Agility to the Dribbling Skills of PS Prima Ujung Batu Football Club Players The purpose of this study is to determine the contribution of speed and agility to the dribbling skills of PS Prima Ujung Batu Football Club players. This research employs a correlational approach by calculating the relationship and contribution levels between different variables. Data collection methods include tests and measurements conducted on the study sample, which consists of 17 players from PS Prima Ujung Batu Football Club. The tests used in this study include a 30-meter sprint test for speed, a boomerang run test for agility, and a dribbling skill test. The data analysis technique used is correlation analysis. Based on the research results and discussion, the following conclusions can be drawn: (1) Speed contributes 34.22% to the dribbling skills of PS Prima Ujung Batu Football Club players, with a correlation coefficient of rhitung = 0,585 > rtabel = 0,482 (2) Agility contributes 29.16% to the dribbling skills of PS Prima Ujung Batu Football Club players, with a correlation coefficient of rhitung = 0,540 > rtabel = 0,482 (3) Speed and agility collectively contribute 39.31% to the dribbling skills of PS Prima Ujung Batu Football Club players, with a correlation coefficient of rhitung = 0,627 > rtabel = 0,482.
