Abstract

Drug addicts are "self-victimizing victims", because drug addicts suffer from dependency syndrome due to their own drug abuse. Rehabilitation of drug addicts is a treatment process to free addicts from dependence, rehabilitation of drug addicts is also a form of social protection that integrates drug addicts into social order so that they no longer abuse drugs. The main problems that will be studied by the author are as follows, How is the Implementation of the Rehabilitation Process for drug abusers and addicts by the Private Sector in Pekanbaru City then What are the obstacles in implementing the rehabilitation process for drug abusers and addicts by the Private Sector in Pekanbaru City. Judging from its type, this research is an empirical research, namely by conducting a survey by going directly to the field regarding the problems to be studied, namely at the Yayasan Rehabilitasi Generasi Muda Bernilai. Based on the results of the author's research, the services provided by the Yayasan Rehabilitasi Generasi Muda Bernilai are still not optimal for drug abusers and addicts. Due to limitations in terms of manpower, facilities and mental health conditions of drug addicts. However, Yayasan Generasi Muda Bernilai can still provide rehabilitation services by providing an examination, diagnosis, treatment and care with a "Family" concept approach for drug abusers and addicts who are being rehabilitated. The obstacles faced are the uncooperativeness of patients towards the Yayasan Rehabilitasi Generasi Muda Bernilai by reusing drugs, lying and the non-return of clients who are undergoing outpatient rehabilitation. Here the role of the family is also important in the rehabilitation process.
