Abstract

Contribution of Arm Muscle Strength and Eye-Hand Coordination to Underarm Service Abillity in Volleyball Games For Extracurricular Students at SMA Negeri 1 Bengkalis The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of arm muscle strength and hand-eye coordination to the abiity to serve underfoot in volleyball games for extracurricular students of SMA 1 Bengkalis. The type of research conducted was correlation research. Where the aim was to see the relationship between the research variables in this study. The research sampe was 16 students of extracurricular volleyball at SMA Negeri 1 Bengkalis. The tests used in this study were eye-hand cordination tests, arm muscle strength tests (push up[) and underfoot serve tests. The results of this study were : (1) There was a contribution of arm muscle strength to the results of underfoot serve in volleyball games for extracurriculer volleyball students at SMA Negeri 1Bengkalis with a contribution of 30%. (2) There was a contribuiton of eye-hand coordination to the results of underfoot serve in volleyball extracurricular volleyball at SMA Negeri 1 Bengkalis with a contribution of 29%. (3) There is a contribution of arm muscle strength and eye-hand coordination to the results of underarm serves in the volleyball game of extracurricular volleyball students at SMA Negeri 1 Bengkalis.
