Abstract

Village government is a activity out by the village government is the village consultative body. The village governmemt is the village executive institution and the BPD is the village legislative institution. The village government consists of the village head and village officials who are tasked with assisting the village head's performance in carrying out the duties and functions of village governmemt. Based on the main problem taken from writing this thesis, it si how BPD functions making village regulations based on Law Number 16 of 2014 in Mosquito village, East Siantan District, Anambas Island Regency regarding villages. As material in research and also to know the scense in the government system of Mosquito village, East Siantan sub- district, Anambas Island regency. The writing method in this research is an empirival research method. Empirical legal research or observation (Observational research) ias another approach to researching law as an object of research. A type of legal research that is carried out by analyzing and studying an issue directly, either through interviews or by making observations. The result of the research show that the function of the BPD os in making village regulations that have been implemented well as regulated in Law Number 16 of 2014 concerning villages, the BPD has the function of discussing and agreeing on draft village regulations with the village head, accommadating and channeling communitu aspirations and also monitoring the performance of the village head as appropriate, reviewing aspects of function and objectives and provide obstacle factors and existing solutions in the impelementation of village regulation making so that they are relatively compatible with the function of the BPD itself.
