Abstract
The API RP19C standard is a standard specification and test procedure used to evaluate proppants in hydraulic fracturing operations. The proppant itself is used to stimulate hydraulic fractures to function as wedges so that fractures that have formed do not close again. From the results of the property test, 3 sand samples were used, namely Rupat Silica Sand, Sand Coated Resin 5% and 10%, starting from roundness sphericity, bulk density, turbidity, crush resistance and acid solubility tests according to API RP19C standards. After testing in the laboratory, the results of this study showed that the three samples had the potential to be used as proppant because by testing the sand properties of the rupat silica sand samples, sand coated resin 5% and 10% met API RP19C standards with roundness sphercities of 0.6, 0.6 and 0.7 while the standard > 0.6, bulk density tests were obtained 1.53gr/cc, 1.58gr/cc and 1.6gr/cc API RP19C standard > 1.5gr/cc, turbidity test obtained 38 NTU, 20 NTU and 38 NTU with API RP19C standard < 250 NTU, acid Solubility test obtained 2.8%, 2% and 1.2% with API RP19C standard < 3% and crush resistance test with 40/70 mesh obtained 9% (2000 psi), 9% (6000 psi) and 8% (6000 psi) with API RP19C standard < 10% for pressure 2000 and 6000 psi
