Abstract
Learning media as a tool and means for studying a field of science continues to develop every year. By making maximum use of technology, learning media can be made as interesting as possible so that it is hoped that it can increase the absorption capacity of learning. The material used as a learning subject is industrial automation techniques. In developing this Android-based industrial automation engineering learning media application using the waterfall method. The waterfall method is a method that provides a sequential or ordered software life flow approach." The stages in the waterfall method consist of 5 stages, namely needs analysis, design planning, implementation, testing and maintenance. Testing on this Android-based application uses Black Box testing. The result of this research is to produce a learning media application designed only for the Androidbased platform, where the implementation of the application can be opened on various Android smartphones which functions as an efficient and effective form or learning media for teachers and students in studying material about banking.
