Abstract

Transcendental Communication Lyrics Of The Song “Before The Light” On The Youtube Video : Sabrang “Everyone Must Have Lost In His Life” Panji Suprianto NPM : 199110003 Humans often feel emptiness and lose direction in life. Therefore, humans need to find the right direction to live life by directly communicating with God. The process of communicating with God is called transcendental communication. This study aims to reveal the meaning of transcendental communication carried out by humans in the lyrics of the song "before the light'' In this study using a descriptive skin research method that will describe the results of research on the meaning of transcendental communication in the lyrics of the song "before the light". By using the semiotic analysis of Ferdinand de Saussure which focuses on the signifier and the signifier, the researcher will interpret the song lyrics with the data that the researcher has collected from the sources of observation, documentation (books, videos, articles, etc.) and interviews.The results obtained are in the lyrics of the song "before the light" has a concept such as a conversation between Man and God. The meaning of transcendental communication that researchers can find is transcendental communication through the concept of tawhid which is the basis of transcendental communication, then transcendental communication through oneself in the first stanza. The lyrics of the song "before the light" have the meaning that in every void and misdirection experienced by humans, God actually knows this and God will always provide light as a guide for humans in various ways, but it takes sensitivity and clarity of mind from humans to feel the light. So as humans, don't stop walking and don't stop looking so as not to get lost.
