Abstract
Lately there have been many cases of theft and robbery which are the most common types of crime every year. The house is a place to live in which there are objects with high asset value, to avoid attempts at theft, it is only natural for a house to have a security system. Because this problem makes it necessary to have a security system that can be a security in the house. In order to be able to transmit information that is happening in the house. From the problems above, researchers create or design a home security system that is able to detect movement in the room, capture photos in the room and send notifications via the Telegram Messenger application. The home security system is made using the ESP32-CAM as a camera as well as a microcontroller connected to blynk as a control and live stream feature provider. This tool is also designed with a PIR sensor as a motion detection sensor in a room. Tool testing is done by measuring the range of the PIR sensor. The results of the hardware design are made by inserting the ESP32-CAM and PIR sensor into the box and can be placed anywhere (portable). The results of testing the maximum range of the PIR sensor are 5 meters in a parabola.
