Abstract

The Jam Gadang tourist attraction is one of the tourist attractions that has tourist attraction and potential that can be developed with development and strategy because it can be used to develop facilities and services. Based on the explanation above, the aim of this research is to analyze the condition of the Jam Gadang facilities based on visitors' perceptions for developing Jam Gadang tourism. This research was carried out at Jam Gadang, Bukittinggi. Data collection for this research was carried out in October 2023. The method used was using a questionnaire and direct observation with 100 visitors based on the Slovin Formula with Random Sampling Technique, then analyzed descriptively. Based on the results of the analysis of visitors' perceptions of the Jam Gadang tourist attraction, efforts are needed to develop Jam Gadang facilities. This is because the Jam Gadang facilities are inadequate, such as no information center, inadequate number of toilets, small prayer room, limited parking space
