Abstract

The spread of the coronavirus has caused many countries to take emergency measures by limiting people's outdoor activities and even implementing large-scale quarantines. However, this does not necessarily mean that the development of information technology is hampered, but rather the opposite. Darul Huda Lirik Islamic Boarding School as an educational institution that is currently still managing data manually has to implement information technology inevitably into daily operational activities to minimize contact between people to prevent the spread of coronavirus. In this way, this research aims to create a system that able to record students' information data and strive for a good system with minimal errors when copying data from registration data to the main data of the Darul Huda Lirik Islamic Boarding School. The method used to design and develop this Student Monitoring System is the Waterfall method with a Data Flow Diagram logic model and Entity Relationship Diagram data modeling techniques. The results of testing the Santri Monitoring System questionnaire which was given to 5 people with 7 statements using a Likert scale obtained a result of 87.43% "Very Good" results so that this application can be applied to the Darul Huda Lirik Islamic Boarding School. In the future, the Islamic Boarding School can develop this system so that users can access it easily.
