Abstract

Air and water are basic needs that are very important for human life. Without these two factors, the earth is meaningless for life. Apart from the increase in human population, environmental damage is one of the triggers for the reduction in clean water sources. One way to capture and collect water from the air is to use a water harvester machine. This research aims to produce water from air using a condensation process. To speed up the process of producing water from the air, a tool is needed, namely a water harvester machine to produce water. A water harvester machine is a tool used to produce water by utilizing air from outside using a thermoelectric connected to an aluminum and copper condenser as a thermoelectric connector, with the help of a fan to push air from outside into the water machine room to speed up the production of water from the process. condensation inside the water harvester machine. The condenser is part of the water harvester component which functions to receive air entering from outside through the fan and then create condensation by cooling the air to its dew point. The process takes 2 hours with an interval of 20 minutes each time to check the water produced. The process of producing water from air in the variation 1 condenser for 2 hours with a rotation of 2000 rpm, the inlet air speed is 5.7 m/s and the exit air is 3.6 m/s. The water produced is 11.5 ml, the water produced by the variation 2 condenser is 15.2 ml, the 3 water variation condenser produced was 17.5 ml, the 4 water variation condenser produced was 19.7, and the 5 water variation condenser produced was 25 ml. Observations from the condensation process are that not all condensers, especially copper, can produce water in the water harvester machine. Condenser repairs can be solved by using aluminum as the main material for the condenser.
