Abstract
K-Pop Fanaticism on Instagram @Tzinfo Riandi Pratama 189110073 This research is motivated by the phenomenon of K-Pop fanaticism that occurs on Instagram. K-Pop fans on Instagram look fanatical when they love their idols such as providing support such as likes and comments on idol accounts, posting on instastory, the occurrence of fanwar, and changes in behavior when they become K-Pop fans for a very long time. Therefore, this research discusses how the forms of fanaticism of K-Pop fans on Instagram. This research uses sections of fanaticism, as much interest in a type of activity as possible, personal and group attitudes towards the activity, and the length of time individuals engage in one type of activity in the interview process. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method with a sample technique using Purposive Sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the informant's fanaticism is reposting idol photos or videos on instastory, giving likes and comments, fanwar, and changes in the behavior of informants such as addiction, forgetting about their activities, and so on.
