Abstract
This research was conducted in Tuah Karya Village, Tuah Madani District. he main problem of waste management in the pearl waste bank "the gade clean & gold" is that there are still facilities and infrastructure that have not been fulfilled, piles of garbage that fill the waste storage area and transportation that is not routine. The purpose of this study was to identify the management strategy of he gade clean & gold" in Tuah Karya Village, Tuah Madani District, Pekanbaru City. The analysis of waste bank management uses descriptive qualitative nalysis with data collection methods through field observations and secondary data, while the analysis for the level of community participation uses the Arstein adder theory by providing an assessment score using a guttman scale, and nalysis for waste bank management strategies using the logical framework nalysis (LFA) method. The results of the analysis of waste bank management still found facilities nd infrastructure that have not been fulfilled, such as unblocked waste storage nd the unavailability of containers equipped with labels/signs, transportation in he pearl waste bank which is carried out if some types of waste have reached one ar or half a car, causing accumulation of waste in the waste storage area. The results of the analysis of the level of community participation show that the highest level of participation is at the informing level of 78.24%, namely even hough customers have received information along with invitations regarding the waste bank management program some of the customers do not participate in the program, in this case it can be seen that there is a lack of participation from ustomers in waste bank management. The results of the direction of handling waste bank management strategies, namely by completing facilities and nfrastructure that have not been fulfilled, conducting socialization, and mplementing a reward system to encourage community interest again and have a elling value with pawnshop gold savings investment through waste deposits and fulfilling the provisions by transporting waste at most once a month so as not to ause piles of garbage in the waste storage area.
