Abstract
In running this breadfruit chips business, the owner still uses traditional equipment in the production process and utilizes marketing institutions around Bangkinang as a place to sell breadfruit chips. The objectives analyzed are: (1) Characteristics of entrepreneurs and business profile of Ega Snack Breadfruit Chips agro-industry. (2) Availability of raw materials, supporting materials, production processes, production costs, income, efficiency, business and added value of Ega Snack Sukun Chips products. (3) Marketing of Ega Snack Sukun Chips in Kampar Regency, Riau Province. This study used a survey method with respondents taken were breadfruit chips agroindustry entrepreneurs and labor. The data collected consisted of primary data and secondary data. The results of the study (1) Characteristics of business owners of productive age, namely 53 years, the length of education of entrepreneurs 6 years, experience in running a business 7 years, the number of family dependents 2 people and the household business industry, there is a business license, and the number of workers 2 people come from outside the family. (2) The main raw material is breadfruit, supporting production materials are water, cooking oil, gas, seasonings, plastic, brand stickers, and electricity. The technology used is still simple. The product produced is 15 kg, obtaining a gross income of Rp 1,500,000 and a net income of Rp 595,313 / production process. Agroindustry business efficiency (RCR) amounted to 1.66. The added value amounted to Rp 14,197.48 / kg of breadfruit chips with a value-added ratio of 47.32%. (3) Marketing of Ega Snack Breadfruit Chips there are 2 marketing channels, namely marketing channel I and marketing channel II entrepreneurs directly sell breadfruit chips to consumers.
