Abstract

Technology is increasingly dominating developments nowadays, especially in terms of health. Health is something that is very important in human life, because the human body can experience problems with its health, as well as when humans enter old age or the elderly. In contrast to young people, the elderly require more attention, both in terms of food, exercise, medicine, rest time and so on. The elderly are synonymous with various declines in health status, especially physical health status. Physical activity in the elderly is a variety of physical activities that older people can do/cannot do, such as running, jumping, walking, exercising and so on. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the health of the elderly so that if there are early symptoms of disease, they can be immediately identified. Health monitoring of the elderly is usually carried out by Integrated Development Post officers located in certain areas. The Posbindu officers carry out health checks on the elderly every week. Therefore, this research aims to produce an elderly health control application to make it easier for elderly people to control their health. In this research, we built a web-based elderly health monitoring system application. This application will control the health of the elderly, namely blood pressure, uric acid, blood sugar and cholesterol. If an elderly person has had blood pressure, uric acid, blood sugar and cholesterol checked, the data from the examination results will be entered into the elderly health monitoring system application by Posbindu officers. At the testing stage, the implementation of this application was carried out by providing a questionnaire with a final result of 81.6% which had very good performance for implementation.
