Abstract

In keeping a pet, one must be responsible for the survival and welfare of the animal (animal welfare). Pekanbaru Medical Veterinary Clinic is a veterinary clinic that provides health and care services for pets. Services provided include medication, animal care, grooming and the sale of pet food and equipment. Data processing at the Pekanbaru Medical Veterinary Clinic is still done manually such as recording animal medical record history data, daycare data, grooming data and transaction data that still uses books and is semi-computerized, so that it can result in errors or loss of data and data searches that take a long time if needed. By using a web-based information system at the Veterinary Clinic, the above problems can be handled. Data processing can be done through the system so that there are no errors or loss of data and data searches are also easier to do. Monitoring the inventory of drugs and veterinary supplies is also easier so that there is no lack or excess stock. The purpose of this research is to build a webbased animal health and maintenance service information system at Pekanbaru Medical Veterinary. This research uses the waterfall method, with systematic stages, namely; (requiretment) collecting information and data needed for system development by means of interviews and observations, (design) designing the system to be built, (construction) making programs using the PHP language and MySQL database, and (cutover) namely testing the system that has been built with Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Based on Black Box testing, it can be concluded that the system runs well and there are no technical errors. In addition, based on user acceptance testing from 16 respondents such as 2 doctors, 2 officers, 2 admins and 10 customers, the results obtained were 79% agreed and the system was feasible to be implemented in Pekanbaru Medical Veterinary.
