Abstract

SMK Kesehatan Har-Kausyar is one of the private vocational schools located in Pematang Reba. So far, the promotion of SMK Kesehatan Har-Kausyar has only been done through the distribution of brochures, banners and online media, from these problems a promotional media was designed using Augmented Reality technology. This promotional application using Augmented Reality technology based on Android can display 3D objects. This application is designed using Blender software to create 3D objects, unity using the ARCore SDK library and using the Markerless Technique. This markerless technique is used to make it easier for users because it does not require markers to display 3D objects. Augmented Reality can be applied in promotional activities, because it can provide practical information, easy to understand and can describe illustrations or real images and contain more information that cannot be poured into brochures. The test results at a distance can be concluded that 3D objects can appear with a minimum distance of 30cm, in addition the application can also display 3D objects indoors and outdoors with textured tracking locations and have a light intensity above 10 lux. Based on the results of user testing, an accuracy percentage of 84.04% was obtained with 31 respondents, so that the designed application can be implemented as a promotional media for Har-Kausyar Health Vocational School.
