Abstract

The success of the development of the Tourism Village has made Dayun Village widely visited by tourists. Tourist visits certainly have an impact on the community and the village government. This study aims to determine the effect of the development of the tourism village on the welfare of the community in Dayun Village. This study uses a mixed research type (mixed method). Data analysis techniques, namely quantitative descriptive, are used to identify the existing conditions of the Dayun Tourism Village. Secondary data analysis was carried out to identify supporting factors for the development of the Dayun Tourism Village and the Likert scale was used to measure community perceptions of the impact of the development activities of the Dayun Tourism Village on community welfare. The results of the study showed that there were 12 types of tourist attractions (Attractions) available in the Dayun Tourism Village, including natural, historical, artificial, and cultural tourism. The facilities (Amenities) of tourist attractions in Dayun Village have met the standards of tourist attractions. The accessibility of the Dayun Tourism Village is quite good because it is connected by roads of good quality. The development of the Dayun Tourism Village is supported by internal village factors such as the potential of natural and cultural resources, the active role of the community, tourism awareness groups, and village government policies as well as external village factors such as central government policies, tourism trends, and technological developments. Dayun Tourism Village has a positive impact on community welfare. Dayun Tourism Village has a very strong impact on community income levels of 82%. The existence of Dayun Tourism Village also has a very strong impact on community education, which is 83%. Dayun Tourism Village also has a very strong impact on community health, which is 84.5%.
