Abstract

Spinal disease is a condition of the bones that results in the position or curvature of the spine, this disease can refer to all ages. At the time this research was written there were many learning media still using printed media resulting in limited explanations and descriptions of forms of spinal disease, although explanations regarding spinal diseases still used medical language which was difficult for the general public to understand. The difficulty of the community in understanding spinal diseases has resulted in the general public being less concerned about spinal diseases. With this research, AR technology will be applied to learning media which will contain materials about the spine, especially on types of spinal diseases, the system to be developed is in the form of Androidbased learning media, and Android devices are chosen because currently Android users are more widely used. in Indonesia, the system that will be built will also be supported with additional features in the form of summaries of materials on recognizing and knowing the causes of spinal disease in language that is easy to understand. By creating this system, it will make it easier for the general public to understand the types of spinal diseases with new and more interesting experiences using AR technology.
