Abstract

This research evaluates the production of Well X Commingle Flow with a focus on addressing sand production issues using Prosper software. The background of the study reflects the global urgency for energy, especially petroleum, prompting the oil industry to confront various production challenges. The commingle formation, with multiple productive layers, takes center stage, promising significant production potential. The Prosper simulation results highlight a substantial increase in the Total Liquid Rate, reaching 5157.42 STB/Day. The second layer, contributing the most, stands out as an exceptionally productive resource. Production evaluation encompasses not only an understanding of the produced oil volume but also an assessment of overall production process efficiency. The increase in production from 339.11 bbl/d to 703.006 STB/Day is a positive outcome of addressing sand production issues through the implementation of the slotted liner method. This success reflects effective reservoir management and well design optimization.
