Abstract

The character that PAUD educators must have is very different from the character of educators at higher levels. The foundations built in PAUD require a strong structure, both learning aspects in play activities and developing children's potential, so that educators are needed who also have strong and different characters. This research was conducted to find out what kind of character PAUD educators need in the learning process in early childhood. The qualitative method with a case study approach is the method used in this research with 4 informants who are teachers at the Mata Air Zam Zam Kindergarten. The research results found that there are 7 characters that PAUD educators must have, namely 1) A teacher must be clever in how he carries himself. 2) able to integrate with the child's world 3) have a plan and preparation in teaching 4) have great patience. 5) has a nurturing nature. 6) have a strong curiosity in learning. 7) have a creative attitude in learning.
