Abstract

Pekanbaru is a city with rapid development and one of the best cities to invest in residential property. Based on the official GBCI website, housing in Pekanbaru has not been GBCI certified even though some housing in Pekanbaru has carried the Green concept. The purpose of this research is to assess the application of the Green Neighbourhood concept in Citra Garden Residential Area. The research uses quantitative methods, this method aims to obtain detailed and actual data using the Greenship Rating Tools for the area. Data collection is done by observation and interview, interview sample calculation using Snowball Sampling technique. The research location is in citra garden housing. The research time is 6 months. The location of citra garden housing is in line with the spatial pattern of the RTRW with the function of residential areas. In the application of indicators there are 7 indicators or 42 categories, this housing applies 22 categories. The results of the assessment of the application of the greenship neighborhood concept consist of, LEE 8 points, MAC 4 points, WMC 6 points, SWM 10 points, CWS 9 points, BAE 7 points, and IFD 4 points. Based on the level of application of the garden image housing, the highest point is Solid Waste and Materials (SWM) 10 points, while the lowest points are Movement and Connectivity (MAC) and Innovation Development and Innovation (IFD) 4 points. So that housing gets Bronze certification with 48 points (38.7%).
