Abstract

Regional development aims to achieve community welfare. One of the drivers of development is increasing the industrial sector. Industrial Allotment Areas (KPI) is one of the strategies to achieve the regional head's vision by determining the stretch of land earmarked for industrial activities based on the Regional Spatial Plan which is stipulated in accordance with statutory provisions. The existence of this KPI has both positive and negative impacts on the community. The purpose of this research is to find out how the community adapts and anticipates the development of industrial designated areas. The method used is interviews with the community, so the results of the analysis are that the community has not been able to adapt and has not been able to anticipate KPIs in Tambang District because there are still many people who do not know what KPIs are and how to adapt and anticipate them, and there is no socialization by the government as well as the head of the village related to the industrial designation area. The people of the Mining District who are able to adapt to the economic impact are 47.60% and those who are not able to adapt are 51.80%. People who are able to anticipate KPI are 34.85% and people who are unable to anticipate are 65.27%. While people who are unable to adapt to social impacts are 48.60% and people who are unable to adapt are 54.80% and people who are able to anticipate KPIs are 43.84% and people who are unable to anticipate are 54.08%. This means that in general the people of the Mining District have not been able to adapt and anticipate the development of industrial designated areas (KPI).
