Abstract
MSE walls are used among bridge abutments and wing walls, and are also used to stabilize slopes that have the potential to slide and retain soil on slopes that are close to vertical. The MSE Wall on the Bangkinang-Pangkalan Toll Road functions to retain the soil after the bridge abutments on the toll road. In this research, repeated observations and analysis were carried out on variations in anchorage length, tensile strength, typical spacing of reinforcement elements and stability against overturning forces based on SNI 8460:2017 Article 10.5 guidelines. SNI 8460:2017 is an SNI that specifies geotechnical and seismic design requirements to be applied to geotechnical works in Indonesia. With this, the MSE Wall built on the Bangkinang-Pangkalan Toll Road is expected to comply with SNI 8460:2017. The aim of this research is to review SNI 8460:2017 Article 10.5 and external stability against the overturning force of the UMK wall of the Bangkinang-Pangkalan STA 64 Toll Road. The method used in this research is reviewing MSE walls based on SNI 8460:2017 Article 10.5 guidelines, namely typical technical requirements for wall dimensions, face coverings and reinforcement as well as analysis of external stability, namely overturning. The method used in this research is reviewing MSE walls based on SNI 8460:2017 Article 10.5 guidelines, namely typical technical requirements for wall dimensions, face coverings and reinforcement as well as analysis of external stability, namely overturning. Based on the results of the review and analysis of this final project on MSE walls, SNI 8460:2017 Article 10.5 includes: The type of face covering used for the MSE wall structure is precast concrete panels with a length of 1.65 m, a height of 1.42 m and a thickness 0.19m The length of reinforcement indicated in SNI 8460:2017 article 10.5.4.1.1 is L ? 0.7 He and L must be ? 2.5 m in accordance with SNI requirements, obtained by L are 18 m, 10.5 m and 6 m with variations in length of reinforcement. Typical spacing for metallic tape used in MSE wall structures with SNI 8460: 2017 Article 10.5.4.1.1., for Sv is 0.72 m and Sh is 0.70 m meeting the requirements of SNI 8450 2017. Minimum immersion of the face covering (Dm) according to the requirements of SNI 8460:2017 is a shallow foundation, whereas in this study a deep foundation was used using bored piles so that Dm = 0. And there was no sieve analysis test for embankment material requirements in the reinforced zone because the embankments used granular or sirtu embankments. The planned design safety factor is safe and meets the requirements because it has an external stability value against rolling force > 2 of 17,99.
