Abstract

The main problem of waste management in Senapelan District is the lack of an integrated waste management system, inadequate infrastructure, inappropriate policies, and low public awareness. This serves as the background for this research. The aim of this study is to assess the level of community satisfaction towards the performance of waste management services in Senapelan District. To examine the condition of solid waste service which includes operational technical and operational non-technical aspects, a qualitative descriptive analysis was carried out and compared with normative and theoretical standards. Data analysis was carried out to assess the level of community satisfaction in the form of perceptions, attitudes and behavior by providing qualitative and quantitative assessment scores using a Likert Scale. The results of research on the level of community satisfaction with the performance of waste services obtained the highest percentage of 61.83% based on the indicator "the number of personnel in charge of transporting waste". With the results obtained, the number of personnel on duty is included in the "PUAS" category. Then for the calculation of the lowest percentage, a value of 49.79% was obtained based on the indicator "rates set for the services provided" included in the category "SUFFICIENT SATISFIED". the tariff is not in accordance with what has been set, it is necessary to make efforts to continue to improve solid waste services to the community.
