Abstract

Fire disasters are one of the problems that often arise in crowded cemeteries. Tembilahan Kota Village is one of the Villages in Tembilahan District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, where almost all of its land is used as an active area. It was recorded that in 2021 the Tembilahan Kota Sub-District had a population of 22,335 people with an area of 2.2 km2 which was classified as dense. The Indragiri Hilir Regency Government should have a spatial information system to obtain some of the information needed by the local community, such as information regarding the vulnerability of a hazard to fire. Knowing the distribution and level of vulnerability of fires in safeguard areas will help the government to reduce the vulnerability of existing fires. This study examines the value of the level of vulnerability to fires in the Tembilahan City Village. The data analysis technique used in this study is a weighting method to identify the value of the fire disaster risk level based on the variable features of fire fighting services and facilities that are weighted according to current standards and existing conditions. From the results of this analysis, it can be seen that the zoning of areas that are vulnerable to fire in Tembilahan Kota Village is divided into two zones, namely the moderate level of vulnerability in RW 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13 15 and 16 and low vulnerability levels in RW 01 and 14.
