Abstract

Well x is a production Well located in the Pedada field in the PT Bumi Siak Pusako area. Well x has a production perforation zone problem indicated by the boundary of the water zone that has migrated to the oil zone which is commonly called water oil contact, as a result of the migration of the water zone to the oil zone causing the produced Water cut to be high at 97%, so to overcome this, isolation will be carried out using the G6 packer to reduce the produced Water cut at Well x There are three zones that are produced in Well x, namely zones 350 A, 350 D, and 550 in these three zones, only two formation zones are still being produced, namely 350 A and 350 D so that swabbing work is carried out to find out each Water cut contained in the formation, the results of swabbing work show that the 350 D zone is no longer productive for production so that later the packer will be installed in the 350 A formation zone at a depth of 495 ft so that it will isolate the entire zone below the 350 A formation zone. in the installation of the packer, a hydrostatic pressure calculation will be carried out so that it does not exceed the pressure that can be received by the packer.
