Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of understanding of the janazah prayer material among eleventh-grade students at Al-Imron Islamic Boarding School in North Padang Lawas District. Students' comprehension of a concept or material is crucial and serves as the key to the success of learning. The level of understanding of students regarding a material is influenced by the method used by the teacher during the learning process. The issue addressed in this research was whether there was an influence of the demonstration method on the understanding of the janazah prayer material among eleventh-grade students at Al-Imron Islamic Boarding School in North Padang Lawas District. The objective of this research examined to determine the influence of the demonstration method on the understanding of the janazah prayer material among eleventh-grade students at Al-Imron Islamic Boarding School in North Padang Lawas District. The method used was quantitative with a correlational approach. The population in this research comprised all eleventh-grade classes, totaling 30 respondents. The research sample consisted of 30 respondents using a saturated sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis in this research involved normality testing, linearity testing, hypothesis testing, and was analyzed using simple linear regression techniques. The results of this research revealed that there was an influence of the demonstration method on the understanding of the janazah prayer material among eleventh-grade students at Al-Imron Islamic Boarding School in North Padang Lawas District, amounting to 22.6%. Based on these results, it was evident that there was a significant influence of the demonstration method on the understanding of the janazah prayer material among eleventh-grade students at Al-Imron Islamic Boarding School in North Padang Lawas District.
