Abstract
One of the common problems that occur in oil wells is the reduced strength of the cement behind the well casing so that it creates a gap in the cement behind the casing and liquids/fluids from other zones can enter through the gap, therefore there is an increase in water cut and causes a decrease in oil production. Well X is a commingle completion type well. Well X is currently producing at 3 different reservoir layers, namely at depths of 2137-2143 ft, 2336-2343 ft, and 2399-2403 ft, producing 4259 BFPD, 44,72 BOPD with a 99% water cut. The decline in oil production in well X is due to one of the factors, namely having poor cement bonding quality. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out workover, namely squeeze cementing and opening the bottom layer, namely at a depth of 2588-2592 ft to increase oil production in well X. Economic analysis needs to be carried out on the workover work in well X by using the Gross Split profit-sharing scheme with economic indicators, namely NPV, IRR, B/C, and POT to determine the feasibility of the workover well X. Based on the results of the economic analysis of the workover work that has been carried out, this workover project has economic value or feasible with an NPV value of 97,998 US$, IRR 134%, B/C of 6 and POT of 0.2 years/2 months. Sensitivity analysis was carried out by reducing or increasing by 20% to 80% and 120%. Based on the results of sensitivity analysis, oil prices and cumulative production are the parameters that most influence the results of NPV, IRR, B/C, and POT.
