Abstract

The advancement of information technology in the construction world is currently growing very fast. Autodesk Revit is one of the Building Information Modeling (BIM) based applications that can function to calculate the Quantity take off material by implementing the BIM concept. This study aims to determine the results of the implementation of BIM in modeling the structure of the Dumai-Riau UPT revenue management office and determine the difference in the volume of structural work between conventional method calculations and calculations using the BIM concept using the Autodesk Revit application. In this study using a method or method of modeling the structure using Revit which is able to display the results of quantity take off, then the results of the implementation using BIM are calculated the difference with the calculation of conventional methods. It was found that the total volume of concrete using BIM in the pile cap work was 71.4 M3 and 4263.56 Kg in the reinforcement, Pile cap work had a difference in concrete volume of 0.0105% and -0.0351% in the reinforcement, in concrete column work of 177. 98 M3 and 20786.4 Kg in column reinforcement, in column concrete volume work has a difference of 0.0137% and -0.005% in reinforcement, in sloof work the concrete volume is 49.98 M3 and in sloof reinforcement is 14541. 33 Kg, The concrete volume work of the sloof has a difference of -0.177% and -0.016% in the reinforcement, in the beam work, the total concrete volume is 145.39 M3 and the beam reinforcement is 34782.04 Kg, In the concrete volume work of the beam has a difference of 0. 0556% and -0.014% in the reinforcement, in the floor slab work, the total concrete volume is 152.52 M3 and the floor slab reinforcement is 20928.62 Kg, In the floor slab work, the difference in concrete volume is -0.075% and -0.057%. in the reinforcement.
