Abstract

Rigid pavement is relatively widely used on roads in big cities and in areas with high traffic density. Relatively large vehicle loads and increasingly dense traffic flow are the main reasons for choosing rigid pavement. One of the advantages of using rigid pavement construction as highway construction is in terms of a longer construction life compared to flexible pavement construction so that road widening creates an atmosphere that is safe, smooth, precise and efficient and economical. This research uses two methods, namely the PCI method. Data collection is carried out by means of a field survey by collecting road damage data in the form of road width, segment length, damage area which is then calculated using a predetermined formula. The scoring system in the PCI method is by knowing the density, deduct value, allowable value, total deduct value, and correct deduct value. On the Pasir Putih Road - Jalan Lintas Timur Desa Baru there are several types of damage such as corner break, shoulder drop, linear cracks, patches, polishad aggregate, punchout, spalling corner and spalling joint. The results of the analysis of damage conditions on the Pasir Putih Road - Jalan Lintas Timur Desa Baru show that using the PCI method on segment 1 has a PCI value of 72 with conditions (very good) and on segment 12 has a PCI value of 52 with conditions (moderate). So that from segment 1 - 13 has an average PCI value of 63 with the category (good). Based on the average PCI results, maintenance should be carried out because in certain segments there is quite severe damage.
