Abstract
Kubang Raya road is a national road that connects the Panam intersection with the Kubang intersection. This road has 2 lanes - 2 directions with a width of 7 meters and a road length of ± 12,000 meters. The current condition of the existing road still uses asphalt, but if you look directly, it has started to experience a lot of road damage, such as cracked, bumpy roads and some with potholes. Upgrading roads to rigid pavement is carried out so that roads can become stronger, more durable and sturdy. This research aims to obtain the design thickness of rigid pavement over a design life of 40 years. This research method uses the Bina Marga Pd T-14-2003 method to determine the thickness of the concrete pavement used. By calculating the repetition of the load that occurs, the stress ratio factor, the erosion factor to determine the percentage of fatigue damage and erosion damage. Results from analysis of average daily traffic with a total of 11,155 vehicles/day/2 directions. the number of commercial vehicle axles during the 40 year design life is 208574249.5. The results of the rigid pavement thickness analysis showed that the thickness of the concrete slab was 28 cm with a quality of K450, the K125 thin concrete mix layer was 10 cm thick. The plan uses a continuous type of cement concrete pavement without reinforcement. Then the longitudinal connection distance is 3.5 m, equipped with tie bars with threaded steel diameter 16 mm, the distance between the rods is 75 cm, the rod length is 70 cm, and the transverse connection distance is 5 m, equipped with plain rod dowels 45 cm long, the distance between the spokes (dowels) is 30 cm using a plain rod with a diameter of 36 mm. It was found that repeated erosion permits occurred for vehicle types with a damage percentage of STRG 71.57, STdRg 3.98. The repetition of fatigue permits that occurs in other vehicles is infinite. So it can be concluded that damage due to fatigue is 0% and damage due to erosion is 75.55%.
