Abstract

THE IMPLEMENTATION OF MUDHARABAH CONTRACT IN HAJJ SAVINGS PRODUCTS AT INDONESIA SHARIA BANKPANAM RAYA BRANCH OFFICEWIWIT YUNINGSIH202610097Islamic banking was an activity based on Sharia law, free from riba or interest. This study focused on the implementation of the mudharabah contract in Hajj savings products at Indonesia Sharia Bank, Panam Raya Branch Office. The main objective was to understand how mudharabah contract was applied in Hajj savings and how the profit-sharing mechanism worked. The study used a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The Hajj savings at this bank utilized mudharabah mutlaqah contract, as guided by DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 07/DSN-MUI/IV/2000. The process of opening Hajj savings complied with the pillars and conditions of Sharia, which stipulated that the bank was authorized to manage customers' funds as long as it adhered to Sharia principles. The bank had full authority to manage the customers' funds while also providing information on profit-sharing methods and potential risks. This contract followed Sharia principles, ensuring that valid savings were based on mudharabah rather than interest.
